First Snow

After a hot and clear summer and a picture-perfect early fall, we are now into the cold and wet stage. It turned very cold yesterday so the rain turned into snow flurries and we had a our first encounter with snow on the ground this morning. We saw it when we got up and we brought her downstairs to a snowy front yard. When she saw the snow on the bushes her eyes got big and she was fascinated by all that white. You can see from the pictures and video that she and Mommy had a wonderful time on their morning walk. Jen made the snowman and he was a big hit. The video shows her putting leaves over the railing of the bridge over a small stream in the park. She loves doing it and the snow didn't slow her down.
