Recovering with Solid Food

Since I last put up new pictures we have been through another round of colds. About five weeks ago Rachel got a cold with cranky eating and lots of nighttime waking. We got through that with some lingering fussiness at the bottle. Unfortunately, about a week and a half ago it started all over again and there was misery all around. Poor baby Rachel was coughing through the night and crying when the bottle was even in the room. She slowly got better and we are happy to have our happy and cheerful Rachel back. Here are some pictures from the last week or so. You'll see that we have made our first attempts at eating solid food. The rice cereal was a bust, but oatmeal is a big hit and so we've been trying that every day. We have also started having picnics at a nearby park (the sheep and goat park). We've had gorgeous weather the last two Saturdays and lots of fun watching R. roll around on the blanket in the sunshine. She loves the swings there so see ourselves going there every weekend throughout the summer. Enjoy these pictures. It has been a while so I am uploading some extras.
