Six Months Old and Two Teeth!

Since our zoo visit, Rachel has gotten two new teeth (on the bottom) and celebrated her six month birthday. We survived another virus a week or so ago. It was miserable for Rachel who got too fussy to eat much and lost her little voice. It was so sad to hear her cry with her scratchy voice. That only lasted a few days, but it was heartbreaking for us. She really didn't fuss much with her new teeth--the cold was much worse. A third tooth is poking out to the left of the left front tooth on the bottom. Teeth are no big deal, but these colds are the pits!

Below are some great pictures of her birthday, some pictures of her fooling around at home and some from our walk in a neighborhood park. There is a small wildlife reserve there for burrowing owls and the city is using sheep and goats to keep the grass down. We discovered it two weeks ago and we've been going back over and over again to check on the progress of the grass eating and growth of the kids. I think we are enjoying the animals more than Rachel so far, but she loves the springtime walks. Enjoy the pictures...
